Based on feedback from members and in line with our vision of continuing to make the Mosman Rowers a community hub for the community, Mosman Rowers is thrilled to work in collaboration with our neighbours in Mosman Bay, the Sydney Amateur Sailing Club (SASC) and Atlas Sailing School, to provide a sailing pathway for Mosman Rowers members. Another great reason to be a Member of the Rowers!

Before you start crewing and if you’ve never sailed before, you might want to take one of the courses available through the Atlas Sailing which is located right next door to the Rowers at the Marina. The school offers a range of sailing, yachting and powerboat courses (Australian Sailing and RYA schemes), personal training and coaching (on our boats or yours), racing experiences and some more relaxed harbour sailing experiences.

Sydney Amateurs Sailing Club Annual Gaffers Day
Sunday 20th October 2024
Gaffers Day on Sunday 20th October 2024 offers a unique experience on Sydney Harbour and this is your chance to enjoy the unique atmosphere of classic yachts "hoisting spars" in celebration.
You can board the historic ferry Royale for a spectacular ‘up close and personal’ view of a regatta that brings together one of the largest classic fleets in the country.
Purchase your tickets before 30th September at the Early Bird price of $55.00 per head Ticket price includes a boxed lunch which will be available for collection on the ferry - Full price from 1st October is $65.00.
The Royale departs from the Old Cremorne ferry wharf next to the Amateurs' clubhouse at 12.30pm and returns at 3.00 pm. Drinks can be purchased from the bar on board.
